Involved Leaders Make Informed Decisions.

School Board Trustees are elected to represent parents, teachers, students, the community, and the overall school district.

A school district is much more than just teachers and students. It is made up of an entire team of dedicated staff including bus drivers, kitchen staff, custodians, administrators, and many others who are all impacted by the decisions made by the Board of Education.

While I have an extensive understanding of how a school district operates, I am not an expert in transportation, food service, or some other departments within the district. What I can offer is a willingness to learn firsthand.

If elected, I will ride the buses, visit schools and classrooms, help prepare lunches, sweep the halls, and spend time with the staff who keep our district running every day. Not to evaluate or criticize, but to gain a better understanding of the day to day operations and challenges each department faces.

This hands on approach will allow me to make more informed, responsible, and well rounded decisions that better serve and reflect the entire school district and community.
